Hi I was wondering what happens if I use mix wires on my gigabit switch. So say If I had 3 pcs computer A with category 5 cable, computer B category 6 and computer C category 6. If I transferred files from coputer B to C would it still be 1gbps even though there is one wire with speed of 100 mbps?
What happens if I use mix network cable on my LAN?
