I just bought an ASUS VG278HE which has a 144hz refresh rate. I bought it open box so I'm not sure if it will come with the dual link DVI-D cable.

Question 1: I am going to order a Dual-link DVI-D cable in case. Do all of them support 144hz? Does it matter which one I buy?

Question 2: What's the difference btwn a $9 cable and a $53 cable?

The one below says "This 3-foot DVI-D to DVI-D cable provides crisp digital resolutions of up to 2048 x 1536 at 60 Hz or up to 1920 x 1080 at 85 Hz. Its dual link capabilities double the 165 MHz transmission of single link DVI cables and provides purer image quality for even the most complex digital video."
1. ($20)

2. This second one says "ultra high resolution" but still says:
"Dual Link DVI-D format allows maximum resolution (up to 2048x1536 at 60 Hz or 1920x1080 at 85 Hz)."
($53)

3. This is the cheapest one. It doesn't say anything much in the description. I may just buy this one.
($9)

1) It should have a dual link DVI-D cable included.
2) I'm not sure what the difference is, but if they are both dual link DVI-D, they should both work. Both have very poor specification lists. A dual link DVI-D should be rated for 120hz at 1080p, not 85hz as listed. I far as I'm aware, all dual link DVI-D cables should support the same resolutions, but those listings are making me 2nd guess that.
