Okay i have:

MOBO: K9N6PGM2-V2 - http://us.msi.com/product/mb/K9N6PGM2-V2.html#/?div=Detail

Power Supply is listed at 450W but googling shows it only runs about 240w.
Going to get this guy here:

COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power Plus 500W - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171031

I currently have a nVidia GeForce 210 (OMG SOOO OLD) but am interested in going to a:

ZOTAC nVidia GeForce GTX560 Ti 1 GB DDR5 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500236

Currently i have a AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 635 Processor but would like to get this one:

AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core Processor Black Edition AM3+ FD8320FRHKBOX - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113285

I am running a windows 7 OS 64bit, incase thats important >.<

My Questions:

Would this card fit on my MOBO?

its a 1.0 x 16 and the card is a 2.0 x 16

Will this power supply be enough, will i see a difference?

Would this cpu fit on my MOBO?

it says its a A3 and my msi box says it is A3 ready, but i don't know how to tell.

Thank you so much for any and all help/responses in advance!

If these won't work, what are good cheap (reasonable) alternatives that would work? or what do i need to look for to find out?

1. You will need a new motherboard AND RAM for that CPU.
2. That PSU is bad, very bad.
3. Drop some cash on that 8-core CPU, 6300FX will do fine. Then use the saved cash on a better GPU since the GTX560ti is already outdated.

What is your TOTAL budget?

The AM3+ in "AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core Processor Black Edition AM3+ FD8320FRHKBOX" means you need a new motherboard. The good news is that you will have PCIe 3.0 if you get a brand new board and can get a better GPU such as a GTX 6xx series or HD 7xxx series. The new GTX 7xx hasn't released any budget cards yet. You should really look into the GTX 650 ti. They are around $100 right now for the 1GB versions. The 2 GB 192-bit versions are around $150. The wattage on your old PSU is the maximum watts. Its continuous wattage is only 275w. And if it is not 80 plus rated, then that number could be even lower. You should get a better brand such as Corsair, OCZ or Seasonic and 80 plus rated if your budget allows. 500w should be more than enough for that setup though.

total budget isn't much unfortunately, will be over a few paychecks. Probably around 500-600 tops.

Your MOBO is an AM3 slot and a PCI Express 1.0. If you're looking to upgrade to an AM3+ CPU and PCI-e 2.0 GPU, I'd definitely upgrade the MOBO. I just bought http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... and I'm very happy with it.

will look into that mobo, i know my stuff is old (Understatement) but i don't have a lot of cash, and i don't know if it will fit my case X_X the 65 bucks is not bad at all though and would allow me to fit all new stuff just fine.

Definately will look at the 6xx cards and hd 7xxx series since the 100-150 price point is what im looking at for the gpu.

Guess im looking at about 300 for the cpu+gpu 70 for the board and what like 100 for the PSU? kinda more than i wanted to spend cause i really only need the gpu to increase my performance for now. any budget gpu that'll work on my board with a new psu? if i could upgrade to the gtx 6xx for 150 and a psu for 50-100 bucks then i could get a new mobo and cpu in a couple weeks... any recommendations?

Since a PCIe 3.0 card will work in a 1.0 x16 system (backwards compatible), you might as well get the GTX 650ti now and then upgrade the PSU, CPU and motherboard when you can afford it. The GTX 650ti has three different versions. The best is the "Boost" 192-bit 2GB GDDR5 ($160-$180 depending on rebates), next is the 128-bit 2GB GDDR5 ($140-$150) and then the 128-bit 1GB GDDR5 (depending on what rebates are available, it is anywhere from $110-$130). The GTX 650 is a completely different chip, in fact it is the same core used in GTX 6xx mobile laptop GPUs and has about half as many CUDA cores as the ti but is about the same price as a 1GB 650ti. This GPU is not worth it for desktop use.

Right now, newegg (USA) has a MSI GTX 650ti Boost 192-bit 2GB for $155 (+$5 shipping) after a mail-in rebate.

If you have a little patience and catch it at the right time, you could get a Asus GTX 660 OC for under $170. I bought one a few months ago for $168 after a $20 instant rebate and a $20 MIB. They do this promo every few months at newegg.
