I'm building a new pc [ haven't had a desktop in 4+ years ] and I have a very limited budget [ 400 euro = about 500 USD ].
Please keep in mind that I am in Greece and hardware over here is 20% more expensive in general.
This is what I have so far:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 84,50€
GPU: Sapphire 7770 GDDR5 1GB 119,00€
Mob: ASUS MOTHERBOARD M5A78L-M LE, AM3+, DDR 58,78€
RAM: KINGSTON KHX1600C9D3B1/4G HYPERX BL 32,47€
Case: SUPERCASE LX08A BLACK 17,95€
DVD RW SAMSUNG 22X SH-222BB SATA BLACK 17,20€
PSU: Turbo-X 550W Value Series [local brand] 45,01€
Microsoft 800 Wireless Desktop Combo 20,90€
HDD: Seagate 2x250 GB free
Please advise on what to change/add and whether it is good value for money.
The system will be used for some gaming [don't really care about having settings maxed out],
but also for illustrator, photoshop, flash & after effects [graphic designer by trade]
