I just upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and when I installed Metal of Honor Warfighter and F1 2012, they both use directx 11. Both games are running slow and sluggish and I have been told that my GeForce GTX260 is not capable of handling directx 11.

If that is true, what video card would you recommend for my system. I have a Gigabyte motherboard with a Core 2 Quad 2.5GHz processor and 4Gof ram. Power supply is a Corsair 750 watt.

If you are on a budget, the GTX 650ti or 7770 will run those games easily in medium, maybe high on some settings. If you start the game, though, you can try looking for a video setting to play the game in DX9 or DX10. Sometimes there is a file in the game folder which allows you to tweak the game settings before launching the game.

According to the site below, MOH: WF is DX10 compatible. If you can find the menu to change it to DX10 it might work.

... and F1 2012 is both DX9 and DX10 compatible:

You can also check if your system is capable of running a certain game. Your PC should be able to run F1 and MOH: WF in 1280x1024. I plugged in your specs and both games showed a green check in that resolution which is the only res. you can check for free.

Definitely a GTX 650Ti Boost or GTX 660. Get an aftermarket CPU cooler and overclock that CPU if you can - Tom's recent review shows they're still viable for gaming, especially if you overclock past 3GHz.
