Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 media function keys crash winamp

A couple months ago I bought a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate from best buy. I noticed right away that using the fn + f5/f6/f7 will work with winamp but quite often it will cause winamp to wildly start skipping tracks in the playlist and stop responding. I have to crash winamp to make it stop, and this occurs very often. Were talking every few times i want to skip a song. Best buy swapped out the keyboard and its still not working. I have checked the manager that u install with it and there is no macros causing this. I reinstalled the drivers multiple time. I even put in a ticket months ago with Razer and they never responded and just closed the ticket eventually. Is there anything i can do to fix this?

have you tried a different keyboard? that would be the first step. there should be nothing special about the black widow's function keys, and should be the same as any other keyboard.

Do you have the latest version of synapse on the computer? check that there are no macros on those keys.

I have tried another keyboard that has media keys and dont have the problem at all. I also do have the most recent synapse installed.
