How to move settings from one router to a new one?

I am going to get a new router (current one is like 6 years old). But i have many ports forwarded, static IP addresses, etc. is there anyway to copy these settings and apply them to the new router, or do i just have to manually do it all again? I will be switching brands of routers, going from dlink to asus.

If it were the exact same router, maybe. Different brands? No.

Unfortunately, even if it would be the same brand, I highly doubt you could easily apply settings from one router to another, especially if there is a 6 years difference between the two.
