I need help in deciding on a cpu. I'm looking to build an ITX PC. Already have most of the parts except for the MB, CPU, and OS. I don't need Dedicated Graphics as i do not game very much. Just some Emulators. Its been a while since my last build. (Over 10 yrs) I've been looking at the new Haswell and Richland CPU's from Intel and AMD. Lookin to spend no more than $300 for the CPU and MB together. Usage for PC will be for MS Office, Web browsing, Transcoding Video, and maybe some light gaming. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Parts already acquired are below.

Case: Lian-Li PC-Q28
Ram: G-Skill Ripjaws 1866 8GB
SSD: Kingston SSDNOw 300 60 GB
HD: WD Caviar Green 3TB
PS: Corsair CX500 500W
OD: LG DVD RW

Thanks!

Not a good idea - too power hungry, too hard to cool properly... And it outright sucks at anything that can't tax all the modules...

i5-4570 would be my guess and a H chipset mobo /since you won't overclock this one/

I was considering those two parts myself. I would like to know why you picked the 6700 over the 6800k. I think the price difference is only $2. Thanks for the input.
