My build will include:

CPU: AMD FX-4100
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 le r2.0
Memory: GeIL Enhance CORSA 8GB
Storage: Sandisk ReadyCache 32GB 2.5"
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 7770 1GB
Optical Drive: LG GH24NS95 DVD/CD RW

I just don't know what cpu cooler and case to buy. i will spend max of £60 on case (must include side window). the board is ATX. should i go for midi ATX or a full tower.

Cpu cooler max of £50 (i am going for looks and noise produced)

thanks

This case should fit your needs for the price . Rosewill BLACKHAWK Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, come with Five Fans, window side panel, top HDD dock Tom's hardware: Top cooling performance for value. Stock cooler should work fine, but if you plan to overclock I would go with this cooler COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO just remember you still need a Good quality power supply!

Assuming you're building an entry gaming system and care a lot about noise and looks, I'd suggest this build instead :

Better CPU and motherboard, low noise cooler with great performance, not to mention a sleek case with sidewindow. What PSU did you pick anyway?
