ASRock 990FX Extreme4 Supports PCI-E 3.0?

Hello great comunity and forum i get many answer from here, and a lot of help for get a new pc thanks a lot.

Well just like the title say i wanna know if the 990FX Extreme4 Supports PCI Express 3.0.

None of the AMD board have PCI-e 3.0, but 2.0 is fine, any 3.0 card works in 2.0 and barely loses performance.

Those are still far off, probably coming with Steamroller. Which is also still far off.

You are right, that is what I mean " you can wait for next AMD MB that support pcie3.0".

Like everyone says pci 3.0 is far of amd are a budget company so naturally they look for budget alternatives example 3.0 bus cant be fully used in crossfire 2.0 can be used fully in crossfire at max speed of x16
