Okay so, I recently installed 3 120mm Fans onto my case. I currently have them hooked up to my PSU, but they do have the 3 prong connects that can connect to the motherboard. I heard heard the PSU gives the fans more power then the motherboard would if I hooked them up individually.

Now my question is would I get more power/rpm out of my fans if I connected the fans to the motherboard and PSU at the same time?

No because the fans are rated at a certain power 12v and RPM and cannot be overclocked if that's what your asking. When you buy a fan you look at the specifications of it and it will say that it gives a certain CFM at a certain RPM and that can't be increased but can be controlled and lowered by a fan controller.
So your connections are either , or and not combined.
