I decided to install Windows 8. But after I installed it I have had some weird battery problems.

When I charged it fully and decided to use it, it didn't turn on, and the battery was charged 100%. When I plugged in the AC adapter, it worked.

The same day that occurred, I tried to test it without and with AC, trying to see if the problem insisted, but it worked fine, even without AC adapter. I charged it over the night because it had low battery again.

The next day, same problem occurred, it wouldn't turn on without plugging the AC adapter. So I tried to explore some things and this is what I had discovered:

Without plugging in the AC adapter the laptop will:
- If I have it in a certain position, I move it, shake it, or hit it... the laptop will turn off. This probably explains why when I moved my laptop from my house to another place, it didn't work, but when I had it on my house (still) I didn't have problems.
- Once my laptop cannot be turned on, it will only do so if I turn my AC Adapter again, and once it's on it will work unless I move my laptop too much.
- The battery has no charging problems, it charges normally.
- This began to happen after installing the Windows 8 OS, which I find it really weird.

I opened my laptop and reconnected the battery, since I am seeing that my laptop turns off for moving it and though it would be a bad connection, but the problem still exists.

Does anyone know what might be happening and how to solve it??

Thanks in advance

It's a hardware problem which means you have to troubleshoot like this:
1) Try a different, compatible battery
2) Try a different, compatible AC adapter

Since you talk about not being able to move it too much it seems like a loose connection so that to me narrows it down to the battery or the laptop itself. Since it would be expensive to repair the laptop your best hope is that it's the battery.

If you're lucky maybe somebody you...
Your issue is a hardware problem and nothing to do with Windows at all.

When a computer first starts it performs a bunch of tests (POST or Power On Self Test) before finally reading the hard drive so it doesn't matter what's on the hard drive.

So if you press the POWER BUTTON and nothing happens it's either a hardware issue with the laptop or the battery.

Yes. I already confirmed it is my battery, however I am still don't know what's wrong. My laptop won't turn on if the AC adapter is not connected but when I turn it on, the battery works fine unless I move it too much (as if I shook the laptop).

Does anyone know what's happening and how to solve it?

Summary:
The first step in troubleshooting is to buy/borrow another battery to test.
