Hi,

My daughter's computer has an MSI R5750-PM2D1G Radeon HD 5750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 in an ASUS Rampage II Extreme LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard. I need to upgrade the video card. The bus is PCI Express 2.0 x16.

Can you recommend a compatible video card that would be a good upgrade?

Thanks.

Get Nvidia 650ti boost, suit your budget, if you can afford little more, 660 would be perfect, approximate $200, depend on retailer price. If you like AMD, then 7850, no other choice unless you find cheap tahiti 7870, pitcain 7870 can only keep on par with 660 but expensive. PCIE 2.0 won't have much difference compare with 3.0 in current time, still.
Another option wait for radeon 8000 or gtx 700, like radeon 8850 or gtx 750 ti boost.

Those look good, but they are PCI Express 3.0. Will they work in a 2.0 Motherboard?

Thanks
