At the moment and for years before this moment ive been using some 2007 Dell dimensions PC included speakers .

Ive recently been looking into a nice 2.1 setup for my gaming rig and i think im going to get the Corsair SP 2500. What kind of difference will i get from the 2 speaker setups? will it be a whole world of difference? and will itbe worth the price. Also will it be worth spending more money for a better sound card to go with the SP2500s or will they be enough with my Sound Blaster LIVE 24-BIT SBO410. Or maybe i should just use my onboard, im not sure which is of better quality.

I have an Asrock 970 extreme 3

Thanks

The Soundblaster card output is better then your onboard chipset. The old live cards were great cards. With speakers today some of them sound almost as good as a good pair of desktop speakers. If you do by a set try get Logitech set with the sub woofer. Great out and good base out of them.
