I do not plan on ocing at all i hear it can ruin your system and shorten its life i want my computer to last as logn as possible thats why im not gettign the "K" version of this cpu and i hear the "Z77" chipset is just for ocing so i need a b75 or h77 but not sure which one is good.

My build currently - http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ForteEXE/saved/1J5d

Is that a decent MOBO i currently have on there or should i switch it

Msi also makes good mi I atx mb. If your going with ib CPU and ave a local micro center the 3570k and mb are cheaper and have a 40 instant combo deal if it still running. You don't have to on a z mb to overclock any CPU if you don't want to. By default the CMOS on over clock mb use intel stock settings. It the user that has to go in and change the default settings.
To let you know at micro center is the haswell 4670k for 199 and has the 40 instant rebate with mb.

If I was building my first rig and was going to have it for a few years I use the new haswell 4670k that the replacement of your CPU. The older ib mb are a dead slot now that haswell dropped. If your never going to sli or crossfire a mini atx z mb should be in the 100-120 price range right now.
Some mb vendors on there new haswell mb dropping the price and having game bundles with them.
