Hi
I have a problem with my laptop, where the screen freezes up and white lines cover my screen. The lines move down the screen slowly until they reach half-way where they just move extremely fast down the screen. The screen below is completely white and after the line reaches half-way, it freezes on the current screen whatever it is (e.g login screen or desktop), then after a few seconds, it works properly. I typed my password in and I know that it works completely fine behind the screen, so I know its not a problem with anything else. I have a feeling that it is something to do with temperatures as it gets quite cold in the mornings and it only happens when i turn off my computer for the night. When I turn off the computer during the day and come back, nothing happens unless I leave it for more than 2 hours where the same problem occurs so I'm thinking that low temperatures are causing the lines. I have the latest nvidia drivers, and intel hd graphics drivers. It would be good if I could get someone's take on this problem. Attached are some pictures of the problem and the temperatures are taken immediately after I could access speedfan.
Thanks for any input
P.S: I have more pictures if you need them.
