I am new to pc gaming and I am planning on building a gaming pc build. This is my first build and I want to avoid bottlenecking. I would like input on these components I am considering.

- my range is around 1,200$
-Parts Not Required: ( keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, optical drive, OS)
-Country United states (Maine)
-Overclocking: not sure

-please forgive my lack of knowledge on the subject

Hi, i'm not really expert but i can share some of my exp.

1. You should choose Haswell CPU, just arrived couple of days ago

2. RAM should be 1600 BUS 4x2

3. PSU, 600W is more than enough

This is a fine build in my opinion; 7970 is a great card, and it gives you Haswell and a awesome case as well.
