It's ASUS, getting a custom made heatsink wouldnt be too difficult for them. Its not like they make everything (including GPU cooling solutions) that could go in a PC... :p

Dont know, so far we haven't even been able to identify it.
I think the Noctua cooler that's been suggested so far will do, if you want it visually look like the ASUS one you can always throw your own fan on top. The Aerocool Shark and Bitfenix Spectre Pro's are pretty awesome looking fans and would do I think.

i already have 2 spectre pro red led fans. do i just have to remove the frame?

The frame?
You should just be able to unscrew the fans from the case, and use whatever mounting solution Noctua have come up with to mount it too the heatsink. No need to pull the fan apart.

6 pipes, 1 fan not 2, low pro... looks more like a Noctua C12 actually pictured better in the above link, this is a ROG branded cooler. Looks noctua, but wondering if coolermaster is behind it. Anyway, not released in US yet. Measurement of m-itx board suggest a 200mm fan n heat sink

The guy in the video said it's going to take 6 more weeks for this motherboard to be on the market. I'm pretty interested in it plus that huge heatsink will probably allow some serious overclocking

It's a m-itx board oc options wont be great. More of a silent/passive leaning than active cooling. Look at the fin design compared to size. Active options such as noctua c14 are tight fin design with high cfm n pressure

Now the hybrid cooling of the formula is a different story. ..

I see. So i'd better stick to the z87i deluxe? Will there be any difference between these two?

If I had a crystal ball I could answer that. But... since near nothing is known about yhese boatds as they haven't been reviewed yet [just introduced 3 daus ago] how about we wait to see those?

If you are dead set on OC why are you even bothering with a m-itx anyway? ?

Yes we'd better wait.

I'm not into hard core overclocking, but I intend to give it some boost you know, 4.2-4.3 would be enough to me. I was just saying, you know, about its overclocking capabilities.

I'm sticking with m-itx cause I have a bitfenix prodigy. We'll wait and see

What little we do know, with its daughter board providing 12 power phases on either board, both would be capable of a low OC like that np

So maybe I'm better off with the chaper one, assuming they will perform the same. We'll see

Ocing is all about the quality of the Phases in the VRM, the Mosfets, Inductors, Capacitors and most importantly, the voltage controller which is the Digi+ III if your going with ROG or Digi + I for the Z87I deluxe

J0ndafr3ak, if your going for low frequency overclocks on your CPU, get a mitx board that is geared less on overclocking and doesn't have the VRM daughter board design which the Asus Z87 mitx boards have.. E.g Evga Stinger or Asrock Z87E-itx. The Maximus VI Impact and the Z87I-Deluxe is more for clock rates at 4.6Ghz+/- 0.1Ghz with a vcore of 1.2V or a bit higher. You won't be able to use the full potential the VRM design offered in the Asus boards if going for low clocks
