I really need help with my build as I am very undecisive and very confuzzled in this scary new world of computer parts.

Gaming is of highest priority, and a good gpu would be fab as I love the eye candy in PC gaming after being a console gamer for years. It is very important that it is somewhat futureproof (although it is impossible to predict what specs the future will need) as I cannot afford to upgrade expensive parts down the road (e.g. GPU) The budget is AUD $1000, absolute max.

I currently have a 1680x1050 monitor but will be upgrading to a 1080p monitor sometime around Christmas. It does not need to include an HDD (an SSD would be nice as I only have a 2tb external HDD) and OS. All parts must be from an Australian retailer.

Thank you very much in advance to anyone who can help.

Being from Australia too, it'll cost you a bit. However, not having to buy a HDD or OS will save you a bit of money. But, if you're buying an SSD, ensure you install Windows or whatever OS on it, otherwise it really is useless.

I'll use PCCG, but if you're from NSW, I would recommend using IJK or Mwave.

EDIT: Couldn't find a 64GB SSD, so you'll have to find one elsewhere. 64GB should be more than enough for OS by itself.
