I have a limited budget for my gaming pc. For the budget that i have right now, I can choose between a better cpu or gpu. If I choose the better gpu, my build would look like this: amd phenom II x4 965 BE, corsair 430w psu, zalman z9 plus case, asrock 970DE3/U3S3 motherboard, and a evga gtx 650 ti ssc edition. If I choose a better cpu, it would get an amd fx 6300 and a sapphire amd radeon hd 7770. the other parts like the case would be the same, and I already have a hard drive, OS and disk drive ready. I'll be using this build for mainly gaming, maybe some video editing in the future. Any feedback would be appreciated!

I had a 955 Phenom II and it did everything I needed it to. I got a ati 7850 instead I only had a 5570 series video. then I changed my cpu a few months later to a Fx6300. so they are both good choices. but the Cpu is sufficient to game already. do your video card first! and you may need a new PSU not sure!

stick with phenom 965 for now and a 650 ti but up the psu to 600w corsair avoid the cx series or get a fsp 600w

reason i suggest a stronger cpu is thats very close to the minimum requirement and if its occed no chance it will run on a cx 430w plus getting 600w will future proof your butt so you can upgrade further later

instead of z9 plus get the z9 ud3 as it has 3.0 usb headers if that matters to you the z9 plus doesnt

Do you think that the antec Ea-500 green would be sufficient as my psu? Also, how is my motherboard, I want to make sure that it would be compatible with the cpu.
