Laptop slower than my stationary pc ?

Hi. I have recently bought a new laptop (Lenovo 580) and I have an stationary pc, but my new laptop seems to be really slow on whether I use Youtube or downloading games from Steam or just anything with internet, where as my stationary downloads really fast with normally around 3 mb/s compared to around 60kb/s on the laptop.
I use wireless on both by the way. Anyone know how to deal with that ? ^^ Thanks.

Typically laptops are much slower than desktops. You haven't even told us what the computers have for components, so not sure how anyone could come to any conclusions.

Did you think this was the psychic friends network?

I didnt really thought much, because im really not much into pc and hardware, just wanted to see if anyone else had the same issue as me, and might could help me out.
