Hi,

I just put my computer together and installed windows 7 to my ssd, but i just realized after a few days that my hdd isn't showing up in my computer. everything is saving to my ssd and it's already 42gb free/ 128gb. The hdd shows in the device manager but it is clear that nothing is saving to it as planned, any advice?

Thanks kenny, looks like it just hasn't been allocated. this is what i get for knowing nothing about computers. now once i finish in the disk manager will i be given the option to install to one or the other with future installs?

Solution
click start , then right click computer , left click manage then click on disk management to see if the hdd is being detected if it is just give it a drive letter

if you have installed programs you can uninstall then reinstall them to your hdd when you install make sure that it goes on to your hdd drive letter in your case D or E drive by default it will try to install to drive C just change it. if it just files just cut and paste them across to the hdd :)
