Windows 8 Black Screen Problem

Well you see, I installed the alienware skin pack on my Gateway NE, and then it told me to restart my computer, so I did. When it was done I was on the lock screen, I typed in my password and such, and then it turned into a black screen with only the mouse cursor showing.

After getting black screen error type (ctrl+alt+del) and open the task manager. go to file option and select new task then type "explorer.exe". hit okay. problem should be solve. Good Luck..

Actually it's not from the windows explorer...the problem may occur when upgrading the device drivers, update Windows 8, or any driver fails to install properly
