I currently have a stock motherboard from an acer aspire m3450 and also the memory from it which is 6 gbs. I have upgraded it before with a 7750. I plan to put in a GTX 760 when it comes out. Should it work? It has a pcie 2.0 x16 lane. I plan to run the gtx 760 with my fx 4100 processor.

Solution
Yes, it's when your CPU usage is nearly 100% yet GPU usage is somewhere lower than 80%. Upgrading motherboard or not depends on your budget. The Sabertooth is a bit overkill, thou. Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 would be sufficient.
Yes it is compatible with a GTX760, but you must also change the PSU if you want to host a GTX760 later. The PSU that came along with that desktop isn't one with high wattage rate. You should get at least a XFX Core Pro 550w for your future build.

oops sorry I forgot to mention I also upgraded the PSU to a rosewill 630 watt 80 plus bronze. And I changed the case to a raidmax seiran white/blue case. Also will my fx 4100 bottleneck my gtx 760?

Yes it will bottleneck a 760, assuming that the GTX760's performance will be at least on par with a GTX660ti's. Consider getting an FX6300/6350 soon ( more power-hungry CPUs like the FX8320/8350 might bring your motherboard into troubles ).

How do I tell if my cpu will bottleneck my gpu? will it show in the ttask manager and say like: CPU Usage: 100%? Also should I upgrade my motherboard, my processor or my RAM. I plan to get a asus 990 fx sabertooth in the future. And i do have the option of overclocking my CPU.

Thanks for the advice. I'm really feeling as though my motherboard isnt reliable though I'm considering the option of going with the motherboard u suggested and a gtx 650 ti boost instead of a gtx 760.
