Hi, I have 3 HDD's (SATA). I installed windows on to drive a and then formatted drive b to free up extra space, windows wouldn't boot after that cause of a boot manager thing being on drive b so I formatted drive a again and re-installed, works fine but as above I can no longer access drive b. It shows in device manage as working properly and show me the storage available but has no letter assigned to it. Is the drive dead perhaps? When installing windows the problem drive always shows as system which is prob why there was the boot manager problem but I just want it to be a slave, cant even access now though.

As I said it ws formatted so there's nothing importand on there, just curious if it can be saved?

Thanks in advance!

When you install windows best thing is to only have 1 drive connected - so you might have to reinstall windows on drive a again - when done - connect drive b and format it. Then you should be up running again.
