Is ATI Radeon HD 7730G good for gaming?

I plan on buying a gaming laptop, and I was wondering if ATI Radeon HD 7730G is good for gaming? I am willing to play on medium settings if that significantly boosts fps. The games I'll be playing will be fairly graphics intensive.

Never heard of a 7730g. What make and model of pc is this?

If it is a mobile version of the 7700 series, then no, it won't be good for decent gaming.

It is an Asus - N56-Series laptop. The full specs are in the link I provided, so this is exactly what it says: AMD A10-4600M Accelerated Processor with ATI Radeon HD 7730G graphics. Is this what you are looking for?

That's what I needed.

IMO, you would not be happy with this as a gaming laptop. From what I can find, the gpu is similar to an HD7750 or GT640, neither of which are more than "entry level" as gaming cpus.

Again, the 650 is slightly above entry level. Not so good for gaming.

I'm guessing your budget is ~$1,000? Go to THIS website and look around.

Yep, that's pretty much my budget. I've been looking around on that website for laptops as well, so hopefully I find one that fits my needs and budget. Again, thanks for your help!

Why not get a desktop?

A desktop would be my ideal choice, but I'm going to college. So, at the moment, a desktop isn't the best option for me. However, I plan on upgrading to a desktop when I live off-campus.
