    XIGMATEK Gaia

have you tried both and compared the two? I just want to be sure
  4. I owned both , the Gaia is still on my daughters computer.

Either one is well worth the money.
  5. Gaia has 3 heatpipes and the EVO has 4, so the EVO should theoretically be better, altough I haven't tested them.

EDIT: But here are some numbers http://www.maximumpc.com/article/%5Bprimary-term%5D/xigmatek_gaia_review

the xigmatek uses 8mm heatpipes to the evo's 6mm so that is one reason they have such similar results. the other is weight of the heatsink, the xigmatek is 460g to the CM's 465g.

So the difference might be on the fan. Anyone knows something about which one is noisier?
  7. Noise is fairly equal.
