I'm trying to get a comprehensive guide for myself. I have a PII 965 and I have it OC to 3.9GHz with a 2.6GHz OC on the IMC (CPU/NB) so I'm familiar with the basics.
What do I need to shut off in bios to allow OC, I believe I read spectrum, C1E, something-turbo, and can I still leave on C&Q with this new gen or will that need to be shut off too.
Is there a IMC (CPU/NB) for me to OC as well?
Is there a guide/chart showing me what the average voltage to multiplier setting to get a stable clock for most users?
Any additional information that I haven't asked would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
P.S. - If it helps, the CPU in question is the FX-6350. Information used for the FX-6300 would make a perfect substitute in my eyes.
