Just bought some new parts to upgrade from my old first generation i7 and old mobo. Im using an antec 1200 case, Asrock b85m mobo, haswell 4670k, gskill 1600 DDR3 ram and this power supply

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817159072

My computer turns on, all fan lights turn on, my cpu fan turns on, but there is no video from the integrated video port. Ive looked to make sure only the back-pin nessecary for the mobo are there, and screwed. I've tried booting with and without ram, with my old ddr3 ram and with only cpu+hsf and nothing happens. the computer turns on, sometimes it "blinks on and off (doesn't shut down just case fans flash) sometimes it jsut appears like it turns on, but there is no video output. ive tried using a graphics card as well for video output, but still get nothing. I've heard haswell chips might not be comaptible with old PSUs, but also heard itwas only for the chips new insanely low "idle" mode, but I am not sure what to think.

Furthermore my mobo has no "beeps" or leds so I just have no way of knowing what is wrong, Since power does flow throuh mobo (cpu fan turn on full speed) I am left with thinking my cpu is fault my psu is just not compatible. What other steps should i trouble shoot?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Right.

That PSU is very big, probably very uncertified for Haswell and made by a company which

I believe you CANNOT trust for quality. So besides getting a better PSU, have you checked

for any bent CPU pins? If you put it together yourself, accidents can happen. Though I doubt it's this.

I was using this PSU 8 hrs ago on my old 1st generation i configuration without any hassle so I dont think it is the PSU unless haswell just can't run with it.
