Hello everyone, sorry for some mistakes, I'm Italian.
In a few days, I'll have to order the components of my new pc.
I will buy Asrock Z77 Extreme 6 (MOTHERBOARD), Noctua NH-D14 (HEAT SINK) and Corsair Vengeance Pro (RAM).
I don't know if this type of RAM will go to touch the heat sink, I read in another forum that the ram are height 44mm (but I don't know if this is true .-.).
I need to know if you had a problem like this, and if you can help me please.
I waiting for your answers. :)

I've seen this table, but the Corsair Vengeance "PRO" aren't present T.T because they have been published some days ago. Anyway thanks for your answer (:

Sort of a tight 'maybe', think they may be a hair to tall - the Noctua offers 44mm of clearance to the mobo proper- the Vengeance Pro is 44mm and is in a DRAM slot atop the mobo proper...I don't have any of the Pros to check with

Shouldn't be. I believe it uses almost the exact same heatsink as the normal Vengeance, which isn't compatible.

I would also love to know if the new vengeance pro will go with the noctua d14. Its the only thing holding me back from building my new system. And yes their website does tick vengeance pro compatibility with the d14 but some say it wont fit.... Not sure and confused

Dear %!@!@!^@!%^

thank you for contacting Noctua.

As far as I can tell the NH-D14 is compatible with both your mainboard and memory modules as Corsair Vengeance PRO modules are just 44mm tall.

Please don't hesitate to contact us again if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

Hey guys,

First off i'm a huge fan of your hardware.
Now for the question :
I have ordered a NH-D14 and a pair of Corsair Vengeance Pros and the Gigabyte z87x UD5H
I have read your compatibility list and according to it everything should fit.
However people on forums say that the D14 dose not fit with the Corsair Vengeance PRO
So my question is simple.
Are you sure that the Noctua NH-D14 will fit with Corsair Vengeance PRO without any problems ?

Thank you.

That's great news. Please do let us know if you do encounter any difficulty with fitting the d14 with the vengeance pro rams.

Am thinking of ordering the same ram and d14 cooler but with asus maximus hero z87 motherboard.

I'll throw a vote to the Hero, have two builds on it that went smooth as can be, picked it for myself, if all the components are on time am building it this weekend

The main reason i chose the ud5h and not the hero is because it dose not have a legacy PCI
I have this sound card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... and i think it kicks @ss ... am i wrong ?
I mean ... is the onboard audio of the Hero just as good ? cause this is a rather old audio card...
also the ud5h has more fan headers .. ports... etc

WOW!! Thanks mate. Now am almost all good to go with my new build. Just need to decided on the Motherboard between Maximus Hero z87 or Sabertoorth.

Once again thanks for also uploading the pics as well.

Have to say again, the Hero's a great one, put my together, 4770K, (initially) 16GB of Tridents 2666, and straight to 4.4, prob going to try 4.6 tomorrow, have to work on a clients rig tonight

Thanks guys. Was comparing the formula and hero motherboard and IMO i think the hero is more of a better overall package and way more cheaper. Placed the order for hero :)
