So, I'm looking to build an upgrade for my PC - used mostly for gaming. This is the setup I have so far... but I could use some suggestions on CPU cooling (balance between efficiency and price). Obviously I still have storage and DVD drive etc... but any suggestions would be welcome, especially if they help get the price down a bit without compromising performance (as I don't want to have to upgrade again for a while).

If it's mainly for gaming, you will suffice with 8GB 1600Mhz RAM.

A 600-650W PSU should also be enough I think. Certification level is up to you.

You'll save some cash on the electrical bill in the long run.

Now I'm going to say this, before the "Hyper Evo 212" crowd gets here lol,

that the H100i water cooling will be superb if you want to OC a lot.

Quiet too of course.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not too fussed about OC too much tbh and water cooling is something I've had no experience in so my confidence in being able to set it up is pretty much zero - lol. The only reason I opted for the 750W PSU is that sometime in the future when I've saved up a bit more, I will probably get another GPU to run in SLI.

The H100i is actually not complicated.

Yeah actually it looks fairly straight-forward when I look at the pics and do a bit of searching, however, there is a massive price difference between the H100i and the EVO 212 which I'm not sure I can justify... I will give it some more thought (and a bit more research) - Thanks again :)
