Help...

My system specs...

mobo: Asrock z77m
cpu: intel core i5 3570k
ram: 8gb mushkin ddr3 1600
ssd: ocz vector 128gb
psu: corsair cx 600
operating system: windows 7 ultimate

i had a gtx650 tib that i just sold because im installing an 670... so i removed the card thinking that it would revert to the onboard graphics... but after it posts and goes through bios it gets stuck on the black blinking cursor screen that keeps reseting in an infinite loop... i read online that you need to remove the drivers from invidia so i (also had to put the card back in and then it would boot fine?) followed their instructions but its the same... so i erased and reformatted the ssd and did a clean install of the os and i ran windows fine but after 1 min it restarted and it did the same thing (without the card)... did that twice.

i ran a check disk from the repair utility on the install disk and it says there is no problem... i have no idea whats going on... i am very careful and always wear an anti-static bracelet when working inside my pc...

other details: only the mouse and keyboard where connected, i made sure its booting from the ssd, i have the latest bios update on the asrock (1.50), i only run my pc through an ups, the computer is 3 weeks old... (the components that is), i can run either hdmi or dvi from the mobo (tried both and they display but alas: no boot.) and was running dvi from the card, also i no longer have the card and am waiting for the new one.

shouldn't i be able to run intell hd graphics of the mobo without the need of an external card? (rhetorical question)

help.. im really stuck...

i tried what you said and the only thing i found was under north bridge configuration under primary graphics adapter... i changed that to onboard (it was in pci express)... but its still doing the same thing... :(
