ok so I ran prime95 for an hour of small FFT torture at 3.4ghz(stock) @ 1.000v (tried to lower voltage and see how it felt) but it eventually went up to 1.1158 and maxed out at 1.1208v @100% load.
Temps top out at 53C (yes quite high, going to invest in h100, or evo212, ect..)
-Is that voltage an actual lower voltage then it should be?
2. after my first test I went ahead and bumped it up to 4.0ghz @ 1.16.. At 100% voltage ramped up to 1.2109 and stayed constant for the hour anf half i ran test. min temps were 26-30C and rarely touched 75C (yes im running on a spotty asetek 510 liquid cooler)
Before I've went further I just wanted to throw out this info and see what you guys thought.
First time OCer, so as far as voltage, am i setting the best voltage??
I am planning on running prime95 for 12-24 hours like they say...from your guys experience how long is enough and how many tests is enough???
thanks
EDIT: I just switched my voltage back to AUTO at 4.0ghz @1.1509 at 0 load...should I keep using auto since its such a small OC
