wireless connected but cant browse online

hey guys. recently I found out although my laptop is connected to the internet I cant go online. however, this is only after a certain period of time, that is, when I first start up my computer maybe for the first 5-10 minutes I have internet. this forces me to restart my laptop every time. I don't think its a problem with the wireless, as my phone can go on google etc. without a problem. I also used avg to scan and found out that its not a virus. what should I do then? tried using chrome, ie and firefox, one of them worked so its not a browser problem either
