Im confused about my cpu

I have an FX 6300 6 core. (running at stock speeds) 8 gigs ram and a Saphire Radeon 7870ghz/oc edition. ASRock MB 970 EX4. Yet I can hardly play Planet side 2 and get above 30 fps in battle. In cities like in Neverwinter online it lags pretty bad. I cannot run Neverwinter and live stream. Because the game while playing is choppy as all hell. Idk Please help me know my computer better. IN as MUCH detail as possible thanks!

I updated my mobo. I am playing planet side 2 right now. My cpu was at 59c and gpu at 41. in the midst of the battle I was getting anywhere from 20 (lowest) 30 (highest) fps. Is this normal?

No it's abnormal. How's the CPU temp when idling? Is it higher or lower than the ambient temp? Since most AM3+ boards read the CPU temp wrong, don't be convinced about what its sensor shows. Did you try updating to the latest GPU driver also?
