Can my PSU handle a GTX 660 Ti?

As the question says, I am thinking of purchasing a brand-new 660 Ti for mid-high end gaming. I am looking at this model right now.

I am currently using a 400W Xigmatek.

I am mainly thinking of replaying Skyrim and looking to play upcoming sort of graphic intensive MMOs and some indie games so I think this card will be more than enough? I am just worried about being able to run it as right now my budgets only stretches to the new card so I'll have to hold up on using it to buy the new PSU otherwise.

Also, if it isn't capable, would you be able to recommend a reasonably cheap alternative that can run the 660 Ti without issue, as I won't be upgrading for a while I don't need to have a future proof PSU quite yet, just one capable of running the 660 Ti.

My systems specs are:

Intel Core i5 3550 CPU
8GB Corsair 1600MHz RAM
400W Xigmatek PSU

Thanks alot in advance!

You need a bigger PSU. I play Skyrim on my 660ti on Ultra. It looks great.

XFX P1-550S, Seasonic S12II-520W or M12II-520W.

Great choice of Asus 660ti. However, it is recommended to get a 500W PSU. The one I listed is really good, not expensive, and reliable.

Thanks very much for your answers! On an unrelated note, does the rest of my system as displayed seem up to scratch? Also I'm upgrading from a GT 610... can't play Skyrim on Low. What a waste.

Envy, I will have a look at all the ones you suggested. Do they have the right number of pin connectors? I'm only asking because I have looked at some myself and can't find a low wattage with the right number of PCI-e connectors. Do you have any links to UK stores with cheap prices. If you could help me look that would be much appreciated however thanks very much anyway for the suggestions.

EDIT: The XFX and Seasonic models look very good. The XFX looks best right now because it is cheapest on amazon and has slightly better reviews. Which of the two do you prefer?

I would definitely get the XFX 550W. Built by Seasonic yet costs less. This PSU comes with 2x6 or 2x6+2 pins which you need for the 660ti. You are good with this one.

Also on a side note on the Amazon page what order are the dimensions in? Because which dimension the 40cm and 25cm is in is important. Sorry for the very novice question.

EDIT: This is for the 660 Ti card not the PSU thats why I linked the card's Amazon page.

could I ask too? can a ASUS GeForce GTX 660 Ti DirectCUII TOP SLI handle a 600W? if not how many watts do I need so my pc can run perfectly fine, like this PSU's can this run a SLI GTX 660 Ti? Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 750 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze (TX750) or Corsair Enthusiast Series 650-Watt?

here's my specs:

Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-3470 Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.60 GHz)
http://ark.intel.com/products/68316/Intel-Core-i5-3470-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_60-GHz

Memory: 4gb DDR3
Hard Drive: 500gb 7200rpm

if you need further details, just ask me? thanks in advance

If you want one 660ti then 500W is enough. If you want to run SLI then 650W is enough. If you are worried about not enough power then get a 750W PSU and you'll never have worries.

However, I don't recommend SLI, just a better GPU instead.
