Hi guys,
I need a new monitor for my pc. I mainly play games on the pc. The dell seems like a good monitor with good colors. I read that it hasnt got a huge imput lag but i dont know if it will be ok for gaming. I am not a super hardcore, pro gamer and i just play with my friends for fun but i dont want something that will make me perform worse. My current monitor is Samsung P2270HD if that matters.

More about : dell u2412m good gaming

And do you think that the response time will bother me in games? Because the asus is almost 50% more expensive here in Bulgaria. I can get the BenqXL2410T on a price close to the Dell's

In FPS games it gets very irritating when monitor has response time lags. Its noticeable stuff.

That is why if you want a gaming monitor, make sure its response time is lower than 2 ms for precision.
Also, that Benq is one of the top class monitors retailing for around $360.

You can also have a look at this one, Its from Benq -

What about the Asus VE279Q it has a good response time and is bigger which is another +. The only thing that might bother me is the pixel density but I am not sure if I will be able to notice since i sit 1m away form the monitor. The asus PA238 looks good too.

Nah, you won't notice any difference at that distance. :)
VE279Q is also a good one.

The reason I am emphasizing on less response time because my dad's monitor has 2 ms response time and playing FPS games on it is much better than my system. My monitor has 5 ms.

So which one will you recommend the Ve278Q or DEll u2412m? I could possibly get the Asus vg248 but it will have no warranty because I will get it on the internet.

Ve278Q.

U2412M if you do not play shooting games.
Asus Ve278Q is an all rounder and is much better.

Go for it, you won't be disappointed in any case!

"Response time is the amount of time a pixel in an LCD monitor takes to go from one value to another and back again. It is measured in milliseconds (ms). Lower numbers mean faster transitions and therefore fewer visible image artifacts."

OK, last question :D . I am currently using a 1080p 22inch monitor. If i get the VE278Q will it look worse than my current monitor. If it does i think i will stick to the Dell u2412m.

No it won't. A monitor always looks good in all cases. My friend has 27 inch 1080p monitor and I am not able to see the difference between mine and his. Its just larger.

And which one would you recommend. I know the Asus VE278Q is a good one but there are a lot of LGs which i know nothing about.

I had my last monitor of LG ... Not recommended, just took 1 year for screen to get kind of over saturated.
