First 470$ Build Please Help :D

Hi Guys ! I'm planning to build my first ever build and I need your suggestions or thoughts about it. I am from the Philippines and these are the parts that I'm gonna use.

CPU : INTEL CORE i3 3220
MOTHERBOARD : GIGABYTE GA-H61M-DS2
GPU : SAPPHIRE HD7750 1GB DDR5 128BIT
MEMORY : CORSAIR 4GB DDR3 PC10600/1333MHz
HDD : WESTERN DIGITAL 1 TB 7200 SATA
PSU : HEC COUGAR SL-500W ATX PS
CASE : COOLERMASTER K280 CHASSIS

The Games I play are; Warcraft, Starcraft, NBA2k13, GTA IV, Call of Duty, Need For Speed, Prototype and other Local Games in my country.

I also use editing software's like Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and Sony Vegas Pro frequently because of school projects and gaming covers.

Q : Is 4gb of RAM enough or I'm gonna go to 8gb ?
Q : Can my build run the games I've mentioned at MAX Settings smoothly ?
Q : What OS runs better with this build ?

I am not expert at building rigs so I need your advice's or reviews about my build. Thank You.

In our country the total price for the parts above is P 18,870 ( PHP ), which is divided by 40 ( Dollar Value in PHP ) = $ 471.75.

4gb of RAM is enough for gaming but you may want to get another 4gb in the future as games are using more and more, especially if you do video editing, then you may want to even go to 16gb if you are a heavy editor.

You should be able to max (if not then high/very high) all the games listed except GTA IV because it isnt optimized very well.

Windows 7 should be the ideal choice of OS.

Your PSU is junk. Replace it with a unit from ANtec, XFX, Corsair, SEasonic.

4gb RAM will work fine for now.

you WILL NOT max games with a 7750. It is a very low end GPU. At 1080p, you will play those games at a mix of low and medium settings.

What GPU would you best suggest sir ? I can max my budget up to 300$ more for the GPU.

and will the Corsair TX Series 80Plus* / Bronze 650w do ? or Is it too much overkill for the build ?

Yes that is a great PSU.

If you can add $300 to your whole budget I would change everything.

I would get 8gb RAM, an i5, and a GPU like a 7850.

... and I've seen my classmate playing GTA IV with a GT 640 at stable 30-40 FPS in 720p, can my rig also play that stable ? Please help me

the i3 will struggle with editing.

And your classmate was likely at low settings.

The GPU you have is super weak and will play at low settings at 1080p. maybe medium at 720p.

Which is which ? i5 3570, 3470 or 3330
I also plan on changing the 4gb Corsair to G Skill Ripjaws 8gb is it alright ?
And for the GPU I will try to ask the store which I looked for parts if they have stock left.....

The FIRST thing I would change is the GPU. The 7750 is too weak for any real gaming at 1080p.

Get the cheapest i5.

Maybe I'm just gonna stick to MEDIUM Settings at 720p and btw what i5 would you reccommend ? I am not expert in choosing

But is i5 3330 a good cpu for my build?

The cheapest i5. 3330.

you really need a better GPU. Some games might only run at low at 720p. The GPU is the MOST important part. I would upgrade that even before the CPU.

I've contacted the store and they don't have the 7850 yet, They only have the SAPPHIRE HD7770 1GB GDDR5 VX in stock. Will this do ?

IT will play at medium settings at 1080p. It is considerably better than the 7750.
