PC freezes because my GPU can't handle the Overclock?

I got my PC last week and within the first week it already froze on me about 4-5 times. When it locked up, the screen would turn into vertical lines all across and nothing was functioning. The audio was still going just fine, wasn't looping or anything. It would freeze only on two games, BioShock Infinite and Left 4 Dead 2. I played Battlefield 3, Arma 3, Saints Row 3 and a bunch of other games and it works fine. Now when this was going on I had the Overclock to the very highest setting (I decided to reset the settings back to stock settings (which is a preset OC) and it hasn't froze at all. I want to Overclock my GPU even more but I need to find that balance where the card is stable.

Specs:
-Motherboard: MSi PH67A-C43 (B3)
-CPU: Intel i5 @2400k
-GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB OC
-PSU: Corsair CX430
- 4GB of DDR3 RAM
-1.5TB HDD

Also could it be anything else that I'm missing that could have caused this?

With that, you simply have to Oveclock in 10 MHz increments until it becomes unstable like that, then bump it back down 10 to stable. The problem is most max overclocks are just simply unstable so you have to find a balance my 7750 overclocked to 900MHz before becoming unstable.
