I left my Verbatim 320gb (model JH9611) at my friend's to copy some data on my hdd.The following day he returned it and it was not recognising. As I took out the USB, an error messaged popped saying do you want to format? No!
Searching the internet unsucessfully, I format the HDD. It then appeared as a local disk E. It also assigns the name for the disk as a Samsung HM320JI USB Device when really the name is Verbatim.
I tried uninstalling the device through Device Manager. Same.
Please any help welcome. I borrowed the HDD from another friend of mine.
