I have the rosewill thor v2 case a mouse keyboard monitor and headset, and about 1300-$1400 budget, I have played around with a few builds, but I have not been able to get excited enough to buy the parts. SO! I would like to see what you veteran builders might have in mind! I will be gaming ALOT as well as a little Photoshop and video editing :D

A few tid bits!
My monitor is 1080p, my headset is 7.1 surround sound capable, I would prefur air cooled over water cooled, I am not afraid to overclock. Quiet parts preferable.

DAMN SON! That craze has a gt thought that was wayyyyyyy out of my price range haha, all for not having a $200 mobo and a non i7! good job mate, my only concern is asrock build quality, I've always believed you get what you pay for. Any way you could sway me to disbelieve? If you can I might just order it now haha.

I understand your concern, I've recently been advised against one of their boards by an ex tomshardware advisor. but that was regarding one specific board in the z77 chipset not the z87...
however you could up it to a more expensive gigabyte board and drop the ssd to a 60gb to compensate if it truly worries you.

and also you do but its not like the build quailty is horendius just not that you could put a 20 pound barbel on the mohterbord and as for features it should be fine as long as you only ad oeene more 780

Video editing points to Hyperthreading and CUDA .... with Haswell just breaking and maintaining high prices and the 760 not dropping as yet, your $1400 budget is a bit tight. If ya gotta go "now", i'd think about adding $125 to ya budget

Thats also a pretty sick build, but I'd rather have the option of sli with a 780 in the future than sli a 770 now... If that makes sense.
