Hello Guys, my first post here even if I've been lurking the forum for quite sometimes for solutions or reviews. I know there is many thread similar to this one, I just don't find what I'm looking for. Aaaand sorry, english isn't my first language as you can see. ^^

I want to buy a new screen. I play games like Planetside2, World of Warcraft, Tera Online... so I need a screen that;

  • -won't do ghosting (that blur when you move very fast)
-that has under 5ms response time
-vivid and hellabeautiful colors because out of my game times I'm a graphic designer
    -IPS
    -1080p HD
    -23-24''
    -under 225$
    -available in Canada
    -adjustable
-not too old (like over 3 years from release)

What I don't require from a monitor but optional:
-hdmi port
-built-in speakers
-wall mounting

Which one would you take and why?
Do you have any other suggestion or advice?

And here is my computer setup

Well the LG certainly fits most of your requirements. The response time is a little misleading, but if I remember correctly from my own research, it is a 5ms GTG response time standard with worst case being 14ms. I don't remember seeing anyone mention ghosting in their reviews of it, but then again most of the reviews were graphic artists, programmers, and coders and not very many gaming reviews.

Acer is good, great picture and nice thin bezel, but falls short in the adjustable and mountable category, which was a no sale for me.

I also looked at the Asus VS239H-P

It lacks stand adjustments, but does have VESA mounts so if you were to couple it with say the Ergotron Neo Flex

That would give you the full range of movement for ~$240
