AHCI mode enabled in bios, but Magician says it is deactivated.

Magician will not allow me to update the firmware for the device. I've checked all the bios settings and enabled ahci mode. What do I do?!?

Hardware:

-Samsung 840pro 256gb SSD
-Asrock 880g pro 3 Motherboard

Make sure your Ssd on the amd Sata chipset. Also download the newest amd chipset drivers for your mb. Run hd tune after and see if it says achi mode. Check your mb bios see if has the last bios file.
