Antec CP-1000, it says 1000W power supply, that is a lot. Is this real, what are the drawbacks, has anyone actually used this? And there are no comaptibility issues right? Like it's missing power cord for hard drive or something like that

The CP-850 in my opinion was the best PSU buy ever. The CP-1000 not quite as good but almost .... i didn't think it was being made anymore .... much to my disappointment.

Note however that it can ONLY be used in compatible Antec cases (DF-85, 1200, P183, P193)

The reason that the CP series from antec are less expensive is because they are antec's proprietary CPX form factor, the PSU is significantly larger meaning they can space things out more and use larger and less expensive components(small parts are more expensive than bigger parts with the same specs generally). This results in good PSUs for a very good price, but means they only fit in certain cases as jack listed above.

Generally most systems don't need a 1kW PSU, the CP series are also older units and you can get a better performing 750W unit with notably higher efficiency now than you could when it released which makes the CP series not good anymore, they were pretty good for their time but it has been a while since then.

Yea I don't need that much power, but it is coming in a bundle with an antec df 85 cases. SO yeah definitely worh it thanks guys. Also this is going to be used, so if I need to get a new power supply (incase it burns out) other PSU are compatible with the DF-85 case Right?

Quick question though, I will be getting, a Radeon 7850, i5 3.1 Ghz processor, 2 8 GB Ram sticks, and I have 2 Hard drives, now I already have a 700W power supply, will I really need more, assuming of course I don't get this 1000W PSU

No, as long as it's a decent PSU 700w is more than enough for those specs.
