I am thinking getting 4770k and z87 Mboard but am unsure if most ram will fit...
I currently have selected:

G.SKILL Sniper Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-1866C9D-16GSR
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231627

I Noticed it says:
Compatible with Intel LGA1155 and AMD APU/AM3+ platforms
Optimized 1.5V low voltage
Intel XMP support for 2nd and 3rd Generation Intel Core Processors

Does this mean it wont work with 4770 4th generation processor since the new socket is a LGA1150?

Thanks

Solution
No the Snipers will work fine, until GSkill came out with the Tridents, the Snipers were my favorite line of sticks, and on a personal note with that set, should be able to run them at 2133/CL10 relatively easily if you want on Haswell

Choose mobo and check memory specs and supported memory blanks
something like this :
Memory
4 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR3 3000(O.C.)/2933(O.C.)/2800(O.C.)/2666(O.C.)/2600(O.C.)/2500(O.C.)/2400(O.C.)/2200(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/2000(O.C.)/1866(O.C.)/1800(O.C.)/1600/1333 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel Memory Architecture
Supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (XMP)
* Hyper DIMM support is subject to the physical characteristics of individual CPUs.
* Refer to www.asus.com for the Memory QVL (Qualified Vendors Lists).

And YES 1866 is at the bottom for 1150 :)
