As my current computer is over 8 years old, I feel as though it is the time to upgrade. I do have knowledge about how to build a computer but I always have second thoughts on the parts and if I actually need them or not. So any help is appreciated! Thank you!

+1. 670 and 3570k are outdated now.

I would go with Marco's build. The only changes I would make would be personal preferences i.e. different RAM and PSU and case, but no difference in ability!
