Hi All,

I am getting a new gaming rig and need some PSU suggestions. I live in Puerto Rico and the electricity signal here is terrible so I need to invest in the best PSU I can get.

Budget: $100ish

New Rig:

Mobo: Asus Z87-PRO ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro (2x4) 8GB 1600
Cooler: Enermax ETS-T40-VD 76.0 CFM CPU Cooler

I also have a Creative SoundBlaster X-fi sound card, a G510 Keyboard and G700 mouse. As of now I don’t plan to add a second card, but it would be good to have the option.
I heard that Corsair makes Quality PSUs but I’m open to all suggestions.

Thanks in advance

nVidia says 600 watts for the system and 1st GPU and 230 watts for the 2nd

Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:

GeForce GTX 770 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 550 Watt power supply unit.
GeForce GTX 770 2-way SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 750 Watt power supply unit as minimum.
GeForce GTX 770 3-way SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 1000 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

If you are going to overclock your GPU or processor, then we do recommend you purchase something with some more stamina.

The 1st tier HX650 ( $79.99 after $25.00 rebate card ) is...

You should be fine even with 500 W so pick what you wallet allows :)

My favorite is SeaSonic SS-660XP

The 1st tier HX650 ( $79.99 after $25.00 rebate card ) is the exact same price as the 2nd tier TX650 ($79.99 after $10.00 rebate car) and is therefore a "no brainer"
