Solved Setup RAID 1 with two drives. Windows wont see third hard drive Tags: Windows NAS / RAID Storage Hard Drives Windows 7 Last response: June 9, 2013 3:36 PM in Storage Share ChrisIT95 June 9, 2013 3:20:04 PM Just installed Windows 7 with RAID 1 on two hard drives. I now connected a third SATA hdd which has a bit of data inside. However it does not come up on 'my computer' or device manager. Instead of 'installing new device' windows message for the WDC hard disk, it instead installs device for nForce Raid Controller. The nForce software does not see the third hard disk either. ANy ideas? Disable it. Share Can't find your answer ? Ask !
