Downgrade to Win7

Could I possibly wipe my harddrive and install Windows 7? Or does the Windows 7 disc offer a hdd wipe? I have a Windows 8 Evaluation which expires soon and I would prefer Windows 7.

First Windows 7 is not ma downgrade they are just different OS all together. You can use Derick's Boot n Nuke program to erase your HDD and install a copy of Win7.

After I use this, if I do, what would show up if I turn it on? The BIOS setup, or nothing? How would I get the Win7 disc to work? Thanks for that option!

Pacstar :

Just boot with the win7 disk and format the HDD under the settings menu provided at boot up from the win 7 disk after you erased the HDD.

June,26= windows-8.1 is released Brings back the start button & can disable metro and have ALL he advantages of win-8. just sayin.
