I want to create a gaming and general use rig. League of Legends, starcraft 2, diablo iii.

I hope to spend less than $300 (not including tax/shipping).
I prefer not to use rebates if possible. I live near a Fry's Electronics and I know they will price match microcenter. I prefer Newegg/Amazon for online.
Buying a.s.a.p.

My friend recently upgraded so he gifted me his old parts so I currently have:

Mobo - EVGA Nvidia NForce 780i SLI MCP
CPU - intel core2 quad 2.4ghz
cpu Cooler - This big round copper Zalman heat sink/fan.
GPU - EVGA GTX 260 896MB DDR3
Memory - Gskill DDR2 2GBx2 + 1GBx2

I need:

case
power supply
hard drive
optical drive
OS
monitor
keyboard

Please help! Thanks.

Yea partpicker didn't have the mobo/gpu listed so it was hard for me to pick out what would be compatible.
I think $400 would be okay.
My friend was using the full 6 gigs of memory, he was using 4gigs the whole time LOL. He had no idea.
He also did not use the built in fan on the gpu, because he didn't know where on the mobo to plug it in.
I'm hoping I'll be able to figure those out when I build it.

Ah, lol.
Should be easy, I had an older board from EVGA, the 650I Ultra, and it was the easiest board to setup & use, and it was the first build I did, and I survived it, just as long as you can find the booklet, or an online PDF of the booklet to help.
As for compatibility, the GTX 260 & its Core 216 refresh, require about a 600w Power Supply, as it runs really warm. I have the Core 216 refresh, and it kept running over 80 / 90*C on most games, and as for everything else, compatibility is a minor issue, just keep in mind SATA II for the HDD / SSD and x64 for windows, and you should be set.

90$ for Win7 premium/Win8 OEM
38$ for the CX600 v2 which is on sale atm : http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cmpsu600cxv2
500gb HDD plus an ODD : 50$ + 18$ = 68$
80$ for this monitor : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824176248

That's already 286$.

As for case, find any computer store near your home for an used ATX chassis ( as long as the motherboard tray remains unbroken it should hold your system well . 5-10$ for that maybe? Add in a cheap keyboard and bam! 300$ well spent.

That monitors $89.99 or $90 exact. Also most places don't have cases that cheap anyway, at least in my area, I haven't found anything that cheap.

There's a code to get it 10% of atm if I'm not mistaken.

Awesome this makes things so much easier. I'll probably buy what I need in the next 24 hours. Thank you both very much.
May me worth noting that I tried asking on /buildapcforme on reddit and I didn't even get a response there.

No Problem.
Tom's or any tech site with forums, are dedicated to helping with tech, reddit isn't really, as far as I know.
I always consult with tom's forum first before asking anywhere else, as this forum has alot of experts always on it.
